Decompression is back in the Toronto Harbour!

Decompression is back in the Toronto Harbour!

We're baacckk! We have returned from our winter adventure in the Bahamas and we had a great time coming home. (any time on the water is a great time actually) We did a three day passage from the Abacos Bahamas to Charleston and sailed 24 hours straight! We spent a few days waiting for a weather window (and enjoying the amazing food and cocktails that Charleston has to offer) and then did our longest passage yet (five days) to get to NYC! It never gets old passing by the Statue of Liberty.

Here we are and excited to be back in Toronto! We've brought a southern vibe and to prove it, here's a delicious new cocktail recipe! (it can also be made as a mocktail)

The Southern Decompression:

3 oz of guava juice

3 oz of pineapple juice

1 oz of orange juice

2 Tbsp of coconut cream (not coconut milk; can often be found at Carribean markets and many grocery stores carry it too)

1 oz dark rum of your choice

1 oz coconut rum

juice of 1/2 a lime

nutmeg

Mix the three juices together and whisk the coconut cream into the liquids until it is fully incorporated. Add rums if desired, lime juice and shake with ice. Fill low ball glass with ice and pour. Top with nutmeg and enjoy!
