It was a long winter (cold and COVID are a bad combination if you live on a boat!) and we’re so excited to be back on the water again. We splashed at the end of April, and May was a busy month getting the boat shipshape (pun intended) to welcome charters again. As we shed the uncertain weather of April and May, this is a perfect time to enjoy a break from it all with a mini-getaway on Lake Ontario. It’s lovely to see the waterfront coming back to life (and say good-bye to the annual arrival of annoying bugs that love the waterfront). We have a constant parade of wildlife to watch from the boat in between charters. There are loads of baby ducks and swans and even Canada geese and their awkward looking broods.
